Paediatric Ward

Children’s Ward has a capacity for more than 100 beds and the extension done two years ago makes it to be one of the most bright and beautiful departments, suitable for the little patients.

The medical and nursing team work round the clock to provide the best of care to the children admitted through OPD or directly. The most common conditions are Malaria and respiratory tract infections. Children Ward, like all the others, practices a flat rate for admissions thus being one of the highly subsidized departments.

Annexed to Pediatric Ward, there is a Nutrition Unit where children and also adults are screened for malnutrition while receiving care for other diseases. Meals are offered also to the care takers under internal programs from Hospital benefactors. Special formula milk for the malnourished is provided by UNICEF.
